Get your fedoras and flapper dresses ready because Know Theatre’s annual New Year’s Eve Party is returning this year with a 1920’s Speakeasy theme! This 5th annual celebration, sponsored by CityBeat, is a secret underground party that’ll be the cat’s meow. Upon entrance to the Jackson Street Underground, all attendees will be asked to give the password to enter the swingin’ "NYE Speakeasy." With coppers cracking down on the bootleggin' be sure you're not followed and get ready to party like it's 1923. Once inside the NYE Speakeasy, attendees can look forward to raucous back room games, tasty appetizers and tons of giggle juice like martinis, sidecars and manhattans to boot! Make sure you got your dogs ready to go so you can shake a wicked calf with roaring 20s dance lessons. When the clock strikes midnight, a live feed of Times Square will take over the big screens on both floors, and everyone can enjoy a free champagne toast, but remember not to be too loud as a cop raid could happen at any moment. The jail house is no place to spend the most happenin' night of the year! Our bartenders will be servin’ up Manhattans, Sidecars, and Martinis to all you dappers and dolls! Guys and dolls can gain entrance to this swingin' speakeasy for only $12 in advance, and for $20 starting on December 27th. Now that's a hoot for just a few bucks! That price includes plenty of grub, champagne toast, 20s dance lessons, and more!
