We help provide resources to individual artists and small organizations through a barter economy: we provide support in return for volunteer hours to help make our theatre go. And if Market participants have more money than time, we offer our space and services to participants at a discounted rate.
The resources we’re able to provide can include: performance and rehearsal space, marketing assistance, artistic consulting, management consulting, theatrical equipment, and general Know how.
As part of the Jackson Street Market, Know Theatre has partnered with select artiststo offer workshops to the community. Our Workshop program kicks off in January and includes Storytelling and Stand-up workshops from Fringe favorite Paul Strickland, and a Dance Theatre workshop from Know regular Darnell Pierre Benjamin.
